British Dressage reminds all members and classified advert customers to have a heightened awareness of online scams both as a buyer and a seller across all areas of the classifieds. Be particularly cautious of buying or selling horses unseen or tack where you do not have any contact with the seller. There are a number of bogus lorry/trailer adverts being posted which often have a digit missing in the phone number so you are forced to email. If you enter into any correspondence and it sounds suspicious, please contact BD and cease your contact. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
**24 January 2014 - URGENT** There has been a number of fraudulent ads for saddles recently - please be extra cautious! If you are thinking of making a purchase, please contact BD so that we can check the seller's account to see if we believe it to be genuine. Often the ads are poorly written and with limited capital letters. If you are going to buy, make payments by PayPal or credit card - if you are in any doubt please DO NOT make a bank transfer. We are doing our best to keep these ads off the classified but it's not always possible.
Whether you're looking for a new horse or horsebox, a specialist supplier or dressage stud make sure you check out the current BD website classified adverts.
