Britain's 2007 team
The British team members for the 2007 European Dressage Championships in Turin, Italy,
29 August - 2 September, were:
Laura Bechtolsheimer and Mistral Hojris with Douglas Dorsey as Laura's reserve horse
Fiona Bigwood and Mr G De Lully
Anna Ross-Davies and Liebling II
Emma Hindle and Lancet (pictured)
Chef d’equipe: David Trott
Coach: Ferdi Eilberg
Vet: John McEwen
Britain finished fifth, thereby qualifying for the 2008 Olympics. Initially selected as reserves, Anna Ross-Davies and Liebling took the place of Carl Hester and Lecantos, who were forced to withdraw due to injury less than two weeks before the show.
It was Anna's first season at international grand prix level with Donald McTaggart's 10-year-old and they were the only Brits to qualify for the grand prix freestyle, finishing an impressive 10th on 71.95%. For the full results, click www.fise.it/
