Bluegate hall, friendly (most of the time) except for the staff who are always great especially charlotte who works really really hard and is always so kind and helpful, great photographer, good food, if you stop at farm shop as you turn in to drive (burger vans ok though)and not too far to travel. REC, N Yorks, 2 Indoor arenas, up to 4 outdoors, good warm cafe, flowers in the loos, good surfaces very competitor & judge friendly.I compete here more than anywhere else. We had a great time on Sunday despite non stop rain & soggy horses. Reply to this message Report this as inappropriate |

Hi Conversano Isn`t it sad having to talk about warm cafes when we are in the middle of the summer - should be discussing air conditioning or something relevant to a heat wave. However REC sounds fab and thank you for telling everyone about it. Reply to this message Report this as inappropriate |

I would recommend Moulton College in Northants. The venue is superb...tarmac car and lorry park, lovely arenas, friendly atmosphere from the stewards and the secretaries office, and best of all there are no delays waiting for the results to go up on the score boards - the scores are usually up by the time I've sorted my horse out and put him back on the lorry!! I haven't tried the refreshments though so I'm not able to comment on those! I competed there for the first time this spring and have been back several times even though it is further than I like to travel with the current fuel costs.
