ADDINGTON MANOR EQUESTION CENTRE

So was it a pleasure or were there some niggling issues that need ironing out so we can all work together in harmony!!!!!

I have posted this in here for non BD members but for comments from S/J people or non BD members who also read Horse and Hound and want to make their comments on here too to ensure that they have their say on same.

RE: ADDINGTON MANOR EQUESTION CENTRE

I competed at Addington for the 2 day dressage show on 15th/16th June. I thought the surfaces were fantasic, you couldn't ask for a better warm up/arena.
The food/toilets etc were all great

I do feel that the secretarys/stewards could have been more slightly more friendly/helpful

RE: ADDINGTON MANOR EQUESTION CENTRE

same as above , really.
The surfaces are great but i do find the use of the very bottom arena for the Novice quals a bit off as the top arena was in use all the horses coming out of the car park came down the road and was very distracting for the younger horses. one poor lady had a galloping horse fly past at the end of her test.
You take your life in your hands if you go in the office to ask a question and wo betide you if you need help on any issue....Just remind me again we are the customers are'nt we????? I did spend in excess of £200 on the weekend of dressage add to that diesel, extra staff, food and it not a cheap date!
The food is pretty adverage now and expensive oh and slow.
One plus was i did manage to get a late entry which , although they say they accept you would not think so if you phone up!!!

I'm glad you said that! We had to withdraw a horse and the repsonse we got when we told the office staff to be honet made you feel "why bother" I would personally find it very rude to not inform them if a horse wasn'tr competing but the response made you think you might as well not bother!

RE: ADDINGTON MANOR EQUESTION CENTRE

Addington Manor EC has been a major discussion point before -
so many excellent attributes - although a few less than perfect ones.

Customer care has to be at the top! A warm welcome is needed.
To achieve status as a world class venue you need world class care - paramount to achieving happy customers who want to return.
