Judging & Volunteering
Did you know…
…dressage simply couldn’t happen without volunteers?
• The nine Board Directors of British Dressage are voluntary as are all 56 of the regional committee staff.
• At competitions, all scorers, stewards, runners (who collect test sheets from the judges and take them to the secretary’s office), writers (who write down the judge’s comments) and many of the show secretaries do it for the love of the sport.
And, it isn’t just the sport of dressage that benefits when people like you step forward to help – you do too.
Judges Panel Book
The Judges Panel, a comprehensive list of all British Dressage judges, is contained in our Members' Handbook which is available to buy from the online shop. Alternatively, you can search for judges online. The Find a Judge facility on the website offers a much more flexible search method and it is planned to improve this facility once the new data base is in place so that it can show Judge preferences. We will also look to offer a downloadable version for those who wish to have a copy on their computer or print their own copy. This would ensure details are continuously updated.
