There was another treble winner in the winter regional finals, this time at the North West Regionals at Myerscough College, Lancs, 14-17 February 2008.

 

Kate Attlee (pictured) headed two freestyles with Lochness – the advanced medium on 74.72% and prix st georges with 72.08% – and rode Corbiere II to take the elementary open on 71.56%.

 

Lochness is a 13-year-old 17.2hh Danish-bred gelding by Limaro, owned by Sarah Outwin, while Corbiere II is a seven-year-old 16hh German-bred gelding by Cockpit, owned by Ann Willett.

 

Leonie Smith and her five-year-old 16hh Solloman, scored the highest percentage of the show. The Dutch-bred gelding by Scandic, who is owned by Stanley Glithero, won the novice freestyle with 76.94%. This combination also won a novice open section with another high score, 73.93%.

 

Jacky Stolper was another high-scoring double winner. She took the elementary freestyle with Winston Jani on 76.67% and the medium freestyle riding Picobello on 75%.
