Hartpury College receives BEF medal of honour
Hartpury College in Gloucestershire is the first organisation, rather than an individual, to receive the prestigious British Equestrian Federation (BEF) medal of honour. Every year the BEF presents medals of honour to selected individuals who have shown outstanding services to the equestrian industry.

The college has staged many major events, including the recent British Dressage winter championships, the 1994 World Championships for Disabled Riders, the 1997 FEI European Pony Championships and the 2007 FEI World Para Dressage Championships.
