BD board members receive a special ‘thank you’ from the BEF
Members of the British Dressage (BD) board, who give their time and expertise without receiving any payment other than expenses, were invited to a reception hosted by the Duchess of Cornwall, patron of the British Equestrian Federation (BEF), at Clarence House, London on 28 May 2008.

The reception was a “thank you” from the BEF to some of the volunteers from across the equestrian industry, who give so much of their time and talents on a regular basis. The event coincided with the start of the National Volunteers’ Week, 1-7 June, when the nation recognises and celebrates the outstanding work volunteers do.

BD chief executive David Holmes and board members Islay Auty, Lindsey Roberts, Sara Green, Jill Day and Angela Weiss were among the volunteers attending the reception.
