At the final show before the selectors pick their team for the 2008 Olympics, Laura Bechtolsheimer and Mistral Hojris (main picture) pulled out all the stops to finish fifth with 71.9% in the grand prix freestyle at CDIO Rotterdam in Holland, 18-22 June 2008.

 

The combination had the second-highest British score in the Nations Cup competition, where team member Emma Hindle and Lancet were the best Brits. In the grand prix freestyle however, Emma was seventh despite being only a fraction of a percentage lower (71.45%) than Laura.

 

Jane Gregory and Lucky Star took fourth place in the consolation grand prix freestyle on 66.9%.
