The start lists for the Olympic dressage team competition have now been announced ahead of the Grand Prix team competition that begins on Wednesday at 19.15 (12.15 UK time). 47 horse and rider combinations will ride over the two days with eleven nations confirmed for the team competition.

Great Britain were drawn 4th and team Captain Richard Davison, has decided the running order to be as follows:

Wednesday 13th August
Jane Gregory & Lucky Star – 19.51 Hong Kong tome (12.51 UK time)
Emma Hindle & Lancet – 22.45 Hong Kong time (15.45 UK time)

Thursday 14th August
Laura Bechtolsheimer & Mistral Hojris – 21.09 Hong Kong time (14.09 UK time)

The combined score of all three team riders in this phase decides the overall medal positions for the Olympic team dressage competition. This concludes on Thursday after American rider Steffen Peters completes the last test of the day at 23.03 (16.03 UK time)

The top 25 riders from the Grand Prix will go forward to contest the individual medals in the next stage of the competition which continues with the Grand Prix Special on Saturday 16th August.
