Scottish Regional Championships: McKendry nets two

Lee McKendry and Udonis were double victors at the Scottish Regional Championships, Ingliston EC, Renfrewshire on 9th – 10th August.

Lee rode her own 7 year old Dutch-bred bay gelding by Cavalier to head both the elementary open and medium open classes with scores of 70.83% and 68.02% respectively. The pair’s elementary performance was also the highest scoring test of the show.

There were two further double wins. Jill Grant took the advanced medium open and the prix st georges riding Mr A Tremlett’s Solitaire and Wee Nipper, ridden by his owner Rachel Connor to win the novice restricted, went on to head the elementary restricted partnered by Linda Thompson.
