Paralympic Update: Para Equestrian Draw Announced

The start lists and times for the Para Equestrian Dressage team competition taking place on Sunday 7th September have now been announced. Team GB draw is as follows:
Simon Laurens – 8.10 (01.10 UK time)
Lee Pearson – 19.55 (12.55 UK time)
Sophie Christiansen – 20.42 (13.42 UK time)
Anne Dunham – 21.22 (14.22 UK time)
The riders not taking part in the team competition competed in warm up classes on Friday, under championship conditions. Deborah Criddle and Felicity Coulthard both won their tests. Performance manager Will Connell commented, "Although not officially part of the competition it was a really good indicator of how the horses are going. Deborah's was particularly special, Pavaroti was superb and Felicity also produced a very nice test. Its a great start for the British team and put everyone in good spirits."
The other British rider to perform in the warm up was Ricky Balshaw who made some small but costly mistakes. “Ricky will bemoan his two halts which really let him down during his test – and they were expensive,” commented Connell. “There was lots to like and the scores were very close so we know he’s in the mix when it comes to the test for medals.”
