BD sports science seminar 2009

Back by popular demand, British Dressage is privileged to have lecturer, co-author and researcher Kathryn Nankervis MSc, CVPM (pictured) among the guest speakers of the 2009 BD sports science seminar. Kathryn is practice manager of Hartpury veterinary and therapy centre and oversees all commercial and research work within the venue.
The aim of Kathryn's sessions at the sports science seminar is to give an overview of the centre's current understanding of normal back function and the methods available for treatment of back pain and dysfunction. The programme will also include updates on the most recent research developments relating to the dressage horse and practical sessions looking at the water treadmill and motion capture systems.

The seminar will take place on 20 January, 10.30am -4.30pm at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire. Tickets cost £40 each including lunch, and the event is open to members and non-members.
