The BYRDS committee has decided to hold the 2009 Talent Spotting Regional Assessment Days and Final in abeyance.

 

Talent Spotting has been a huge success over the past eight years, identifying and supporting many talented riders to reach the higher levels of the sport. However, with the ever-increasing range of training opportunities available in each region, the committee feels a fundamental review is needed to maximise the scheme’s benefits.

 

A new scheme for professionals aged 18-25 will be launched in the autumn of 2009. Further details on this project and the restructured Talent Spotting will be published in due course.
