Great entertainment and competition for 2009 winters
There is some great entertainment as well as competition lined up for the 2009 Event Insurance Services Winter Dressage Championships at Hartpury Arena, Gloucestershire, 8-12 April.

Emile Faurie, who has represented Britain at two Olympic Games, three World Games and three European Championships, will be giving two masterclass demonstrations. He will share his highly-successful training approach during the Friday and Saturday gala evenings.

Popular trainer and former British team member Anna Ross-Davies is putting on a musical extravaganza on each of the evenings too. They are sure to include a dose of Anna’s renowned sense of humour and down to earth attitude.

The Pony Club are also expected to entertain us with a spectacular musical ride, commemorating the achievements of this special organisation, which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.

The legendary Mary Ray returns to perform one of her world-famous canine heelwork-to-music routines.

The best British professional riders will compete side-by-side with the country’s top amateurs at this world-class venue. The highlight of Friday night’s competition is the NAF Prix St Georges Freestyle Championships while the Event Insurance Services Intermediaire I Music Freestyle Championships take place on Saturday night.

During the daytime, the show’s diverse programme includes the Spillers Response Combined Training Championships, dressage to music at various levels and the Petplan Equine Area Festival Championships.
