Dutch and British team members have entered the Dressage at Hickstead CDIO in West Sussex from 24-30 July 2006.

Britain’s team members Laura Bechtolsheimer, Wayne Channon and Sandy Phillips will be using the opportunity to get some “match practice” before the World Equestrian Games in August. You will also be able to watch other top Brits, including Emile Faurie, Carl Hester, Ferdi Eilberg and his daughter Maria.

Teams battling for Nations Cup honours will be France, Germany, Britain and Holland, whose entries include Imke Schellekens-Bartels and Laurens van Lieren, who are both on the Dutch team for WEG, and Kirsten Beckers, who is reserve. Finland’s Kyra Kyrklund, who is based in Britain, will also be competing.

The championships start on Monday, 24 July, with the finals of the Dressage Masters League and the Rhinegold British Young Horse Championships. The international classes kick-off on Thursday, 27 July, and the show climaxes with the freestyle to music on Sunday, 30 July.
