Young professionals award 2009
last updated on March 25, 2009 10:44
Are you aged 18-25 and aiming for a career in the dressage industry? Then the young professionals award could be the boost you are looking for.
Applications are invited from young people working with horses, who are able to demonstrate a commitment to a future in the dressage industry. You might be working as an apprentice in a professional yard, running your own yard or developing your own activity with horses while receiving some support from parents/partner or other source.
Three interactive training days will be held in October 2009 at high-profile yards with top trainers. Eight riders will be accepted at each training day with two from each day going forward to a final at the Talland School of Equitation in Gloucestershire in February 2010. The overall winner will benefit from a custom-made package of opportunities and there will be two runner-up prizes with a total prize fund of £5,000.
If you feel you meet the criteria for this new and exciting award, please download the application letter and form. The closing date is 1 August 2009. For any queries or further information, please contact Jeanette Proctor or Ann Morton (tel: 024 76 698834).
