BD has just recieved exciting news through the sponsors of one of our top riders Carl Hester; in a dressage first he is to ride a Zebra at Hickstead this year. The news release states:

After much consideration the Jockey Club have allowed Zebras to participate. This follows a European Court Ruling on Zebras having the right to compete in the free market, after representation by the Zebra Jockey Club of Mali.

Carl says “We nipped off to Kenya for some training as Kenyan Zebras are supposed to be the fastest and I have to say if we can get them going in the right direction we could be in with a chance.”

Simon Middleton MD of Zebra Products UK says:

“This is amazing we are totally geared up to this wonderfull opportunity and not only have a complete range of accessories from Nigeria but also have negotioated to import Kenyan Zebras into the UK as we think they have the best potential.”
