BD seeks para dressage officer

British Dressage is looking for a hard working individual with excellent organisational and communication skills to coordinate the Para Dressage department. Working in a young and busy office you will be the main point of contact for all Para Equestrian related issues. If you are self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced and varied environment, then we would like to hear from you.
Working within the sport and technical team your responsibilities will be to:
- Maintain the growth of Para Equestrian Dressage within British Dressage and make improvements where possible.
- Organise trips abroad for World Class (including Development) riders, including making entries, arranging travel and accommodation etc.
- Liaise with Selectors and Chefs d’Equipe in World Class matters.
- Co-ordinate and attend Committee Meetings, taking Minutes and making any necessary arrangements.
- Monitor the Para Equestrian Budget.
- Assist in communication of Selection Policies.
- Ensure National and International results are recorded accurately.
- Organise the Para Equestrian Dressage Spring Championships and Para Equestrian Talent Spotting.
- Assist in organisation of Para Equestrian Winter Championships and any other National Events.
Knowledge and experience:
- Calm and organised approach
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Good eye for detail
- To be successful a knowledge of Para Dressage or disability sport will be a distinct advantage.
BD has ambitious plans for growth and you will take a central role in delivering dynamic initiatives. Due to the nature of the sport a flexible approach to working, including some weekends and evenings is essential.

Salary £10,500 pa. The position is part time (20hrs per week) located at the above address.
