Moorsele CPEDI: Sheardown proves invincible
Emma Sheardown and Purdy’s Dream were unbeatable at the Moorsele CPEDI in Belgium, 17-19 April 2009, winning the grade 1a team, individual and freestyle tests, all with scores of more than 70%.
 
Sophie Wells, who was competing two horses, also had a good show. She scored two wins, the grade IV individual and freestyle tests with Pinocchio, the latter with 74.727%, and achieved other good placings, including a third in the team test with Valerius.
 
Emma Kent and Gentle II scored an impressive 74.389% to win the grade III freestyle having finished second in the team test and third in the individual. Jo Pitt and Estralita also enjoyed a 1-2-3 with a win in the grade II individual test, a second place in the team test and third in the freestyle. The standard was extremely high in the latter class, where compatriot Erin Orford and Nirvana Pure Indulgence took the runner-up slot on 75.222%.
