Not even two weeks after her first ever overseas international competition, British pony rider Claire Gallimore puts up another impressive performance, this time at the CDIP Moorsele, Belgium, 20 – 24 May 2009.
The 15 year old from St Albans in Hertfordshire rode her 14.2hh gelding Gigolo to a 3rd place in the Freestyle to Music on a massive 73.92%.
Galimore also posted a 3rd place in the FEI Pony Individual Test on 69.91% in a class of 59 and rode to 9th position on 65.92% in the FEI Team Test amidst another massive class of 60.
Such large classes were the result of pony riders taking advantage of the unique opportunity to accustom their ponies to the Moorsele setting, where the 2009 European Pony Championships will take place on 29 July – 3 August, 2009.
