Trainers/Coaches wanted for BEF Foundation Squad Initiative

Trainers/Coaches wanted for BEF Foundation Squad Initiative British Dressage is currently looking for eight coaches (four to Coach able-bodied riders, four to coach para equestrian riders) who would be interested in coaching those on the BEF Regional Foundation Squads. Coaches will be required for four practical days within the next 12 months for which they will be paid approx £300/day.

Applicants should be listed on the 2009 British Dressage Trainers Database, have completed a safeguarding and protecting children course and have a Criminal Records Bureau check. The Foundation Programme's purpose is to develop a talent pool of young riders in each region. Suitable applicants will have proven experience in developing young riders up to International level. 

Please e-mail Ruth Tyler, Sport and Technical Officer (ruthtyler@britishdressage.co.uk) with a brief outline expressing your interest and detailing the qualities that would make you suitable for this position. Please also include which region you would coach in (please note that we have already recruited for the Northern region which is undertaking an early pilot) and whether you would be interested in coaching Para or able-bodied riders.

Applications will close on 26 June 2009. The British Dressage Training and Para Committees will select successful candidates by 1 August.
