Peter Storr secured two wins at the Central Regional Championships, Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Bucks 18 – 19 August 2009.

Storr headed the Prix St Georges with Kay Maxted’s 12 year old Gribaldi stallion, Privaldi with 70.18%. He then went on to clinch the Medium Open with Hermione Black and Penny Pollard’s Royal Concert (pictured) with 72.16%.

“I had a bit of a scarey start with Privaldi,” said Storr. “He was spooked immediately before the test but then soon settled as we entered the arena. He went on to produce a good test - I was very happy with him.”

“Royal Concert is quite green at that level but he did a really great job,” said Storr about the 6 year old Royal Diamond gelding. “Riding him is like driving a Porsche – he has lots of gears and is very responsive.”

Charlotte Dujardin, who was recently knocked out in a fall from a young horse, recovered sufficiently to ride Valegro in section B of the Advanced Medium Open. The pair won the class convincingly with 73.77%.

Dressage Deluxe the title sponsor of the 2009 National Dressage Championships has just signed up Charlotte with a lucrative sponsorship deal that covers Dressage Deluxe’s own brand range of rider and horse accessories and their hand picked selection of must have dressage brands.
