It has been confirmed that the Federation of International Horseball (FHIB) European Horseball Pony Championships 2010 will run alongside the FEI European Pony Championships when they are held at Bishop Burton College, East Yorkshire this summer
The competition will run over five days between the 27th July and the 1st August 2010. This high-profile event is one of the highlights of the European equestrian calendar. Teams of young riders aged 12-16yrs from across the continent will compete for international honours in eventing, dressage and show jumping. The addition of horseball to the competition schedule is just one of the exciting extra features organisers have planned for this special event.
The Championships, to held in the UK for the first time in 13 years, will provide spectators with the opportunity to see some of the world’s most accomplished young riders in action. A well stocked shopping village and spectacular opening ceremony will add to the sense of occasion. With so much going on under one roof it promises to be a great family day out.
