National Steward Training Day open to all

The National Steward Training Day will be held 17 March 2010 at Moulton College, West Street, Moulton, Northampton NN3 7RR and promises to be an educational and interactive day perfect for those wanting to brush up or improve their stewarding knowledge or for those who want to get involved for the first time. Covering issues from welfare to tack, stables and steward reactions, this day is a must for everyone involved or interested in stewarding.
The programme will be as follows:
9.30 Registration
10.00 Welcome, Principles of stewarding/stewarding assessment form
10.45 Theory and questions on British Dressage rules and where to find answers
11.15 Scenarios needing attention
12.00 Lunch (free of charge)
13.00 Stables – 2 groups, welfare issues/steward reactions (Practical)
14.00 Tack - 2 groups (Practical)
15.00 Review and questions/problems
16.00 Finish
Prices:
• FREE for those listed on the British Dressage National Stewards list.
• £10 – British Dressage members
• £15 – Non-British Dressage members
