The National Judges Convention 2010, sponsored by British Dressage Supporters Club, will be held on Wednesday, 31 March from 10am - 4pm at Hartpury College, Glos GL19 3BE.

Taken by FEI International Judges Andrew Gardener, Judy Harvey and other guest speakers, the convention will be dedicated completely to judging dressage to music from Novice to Advanced. Expert musical input will be provided by audio film editor Ken Barnsley with over 30 years experience of putting music to pictures for TV and film.

With tips and advice from Andrew, Judy and others, topics will range from how to fill out score sheets to interpreting the suitability of the music. Live kurs will also be performed as Andrew and Judy provide ongoing commentary explaining exactly what they are seeing and the corresponding marks they would give.

Open to all, the judges convention is perfect for those who already enjoy judging dressage to music and want to improve, as well as those getting involved for the first time. Riders and trainers can also benefit from learning more about the complicated art of riding to music and discovering what they can change to receive better marks.
