With new title sponsorship from the NAF Five Star brand there is more than a little magic in the air in preparation for this year’s Winter Dressage Championships. Held at Hartpury Arena, Gloucestershire on 7-11 April, the show promises five days of high-calibre competition.

Featuring music classes from novice level to intermediate 1 and including the Spillers Response Combined Training championships the show’s diverse programme is not to be missed. Side by side with the best British riders, the UK’s top amateurs will compete for the Petplan Equine Area Festival Championships.

Entry to the show during the day is free for visitors and the spectator friendly layout sets the scene for a great day out. Tickets are available for two gala nights on Friday and Saturday evenings featuring the Magic PSG and Superflex Inter 1 music freestyle championship classes. Serious competition is interspersed with a quality selection of demos and displays as international Grand Prix rider Anna Ross-Davies presents two master classes with her special blend of wisdom and an inimitable sense of humour

A Bad Boys Pas De Deux will be performed by heart throbs of British dressage Henry Boswell and Charlie Hutton who will ride their wild child routine to music choreographed by BD Rules and Fixtures Director Sara Green. Following the musical theme the Cheshire Hunt North Pony Club will present a toe tapping Mamma Mia themed musical ride. Finally the English vaulting squad will be performing their spectacular acrobatic routines to music, rounding off a not to be missed line up.
