Laura Fry secured two wins at the North West Regional Championships, Myerscough College, Lancashire 10 – 14 February 2010. Partnered by Leslie Connor’s Remming, a 12 year old gelding by Flemming, she won the Advanced Medium Open and the Advanced Medium Music Freestyle with 71.23% and 73.44% respectively.

“I was thrilled with the horse. He won a class at the Addington High Profile show last month and has continued in great form,” said Fry. “He came back competing last May after two years off following an injury so we’ve been patient with him as he’s regained his strength.

“He feels fantastic now and to ride he’s great – he has a very keen, generous temperament with beautiful movement,” added Fry. “We’re going to crack on with PSG and his next outing will be Myerscough Premier League in March.”

Another combination to take two titles was Kate Attlee and Conquistador, Patricia Andrews’ seven year old German-bred gelding. They won the Elementary Open with 72.14% and the Elementary Open Music Freestyle with 73.33% but the highest score of the show went to Emma Worrall and the eight year old Irish-bred gelding Boolagh Seamus. They impressed the judges in the Preliminary to earn 74.55%.
