Four job opportunities are coming up at British Dressage: a part-time finance assistant, grading administrator, PA to the CEO and a temporary post as regional development officer for the eastern region to cover maternity leave.

Part-time finance assistant
A part-time finance assistant is needed to help with the purchase ledger for six hours per week between 3-5pm. Some accounts experience is preferred. The pay is £7.50 per hour.

Grading administrator
The grading administrator’s job is a full-time position and needs someone who is computer literate. You will be responsible for entering competition results onto a database and dealing with enquiries relating to the eligibility of competitors for dressage competitions. You will also manage records, among other tasks.

Attention to detail, the ability to interpret basic data, manage your workload, work in a team and on your own initiative as well as having excellent inter-personal skills are all important.

The successful candidate will be based at Stoneleigh Park, with a salary in the region of £15,000.

PA to CEO

The Chief Executive is looking for a PA as his current one is retiring. Based at Stoneleigh, you will require excellent secretarial skills, including shorthand and the ability to take minutes. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

You have to be highly organised, diplomatic, resourceful, discreet and flexible, as responsibilities range from organising the CEO’s diary to looking after his dog Holly. Own transport is essential and hours are 9am to 5pm.

Regional Development Officer Eastern Region

This temporary job is to cover maternity leave from 1 January 2007. It involves co-ordinating affiliated competition dates and venues as well as developing and organising training for judges, under-25s and senior members in the eastern region. This includes Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, London, Norfolk and Suffolk.
You will need to have your own car, computer and access to email as well as a flexible approach to working 21hrs a week from home.
