The Country Channel has secured the exclusive European and UK rights to broadcast ‘The State of the Games’, a multi-part series that features the build up to the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky.
‘The State of the Games’ is a Horse TV H-SPAN production in cooperation with the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Foundation, the organizing committee of the 2010 games, the Kentucky Horse Park and the many sponsors of the Games.
The series is designed to chronicle the build up to the 2010 Games and beyond from the perspective of the State of Kentucky, the City of Lexington, Committee Executives, industry personalities, sponsors and competitors themselves.
The series will be primarily presented by internationally renowned sportscaster, reporter and Kentucky legend Kenny Rice. Alongside Kenny there will be host of other stars taking part in the series.
Paul Aitken is thrilled to have secured the series: “We are delighted to have the opportunity for an exclusive preview of the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games and are looking forward to developing our relationship with Horse TV with some exciting side competitions during the games.”
The series will be available on the free-to-view Country Channel at www.countrychannel.tv. The first episode in the series is already available on The Country Channel and the rest will follow over the next few months.
