The FEI have provided the following supplementary guidance for treatment areas at FEI events (supplement to VGn3/2010). The Veterinary Guidance Note explains what types of treatment must be allocated to agreed designated treatment areas at FEI events.

This guidance is for veterinary officials at FEI events, persons responsible, organizing committees and officials and must be read in relation to the 2010 FEI Veterinary Regulations.

It outlines the processing of ETUES, Medication Form 3s and allocation of agreed designated treating areas. If notes that for certain specific therapies, the practical and appropriate designated agreed treating area may be the horses own stabling.
