Volunteers sought for the Pony European Championships 2010

Can you offer your expertise to help with the running of these prestigious championships?
The combined dressage, show jumping and eventing Pony European Championships take place at Bishop Burton College, East Yorkshire 28th July - 1st August 2010. Held in the UK for the first time in 13 years, the event will provide a rare opportunity to see some of the world’s most accomplished young riders in action.
Event organisers are looking for dressage writers and ‘button pushers’ (to assist with the instant scoring mechanism) to assist a ground jury of some of the world’s most respected international judges as follows:

Member: Isobel Wessels, GBR, 4*
Member: Anne Prain, FRA, 4*
Member: Freddy Leyman, BEL, 4*
Accommodation and food will be provided; if you would like to register your interest to volunteer please email Angela Green (Angelagreen@britishdressage.co.uk) in the first instance stating which day(s) you can support/commit to this event. Your support would be very much appreciated.

The fantastic facilities that will host the event are set amidst stunning parkland on the edge of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds, three miles from the historic market town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. A well stocked shopping village and spectacular opening ceremony will add to the sense of occasion. With so much going on under one roof it promises to be a great family day out.
