This month the Team GBR Auction site has some exclusive signed prizes on offer to bidders.
Para-equestrian dressage fans have the opportunity to bid for a signed, mounted and framed photograph of the 2008 British Paralympic Equestrian gold medal winning team. This is a unique opportunity to bid for a photograph signed by the four members team, who not only won the team title but also brought home a further seven individual medals between them. The 2008 team comprised Lee Pearson, Sophie Christiansen, Anne Dunham and Simon Laurens.
Also up for grabs is an official Team GBR Adidas Polo shirt signed by all the members of the 2004 British Olympic equestrian team. This exclusive prize, which has been kindly donated by the British Olympic Association, is signed by riders including Pippa Funnell, Carl Hester, William Fox-Pitt, Leslie Law, Nick Skelton and many more.
Other auction prizes include an 80 litre Waterboy portable horse wash, a must for all horse owners; two members tickets for the 2011 Polocrosse World Cup, which takes place at bishop Burton College, East Yorkshire from 8th-17th July 2011 and the opportunity to have a personal tour of Wood Lane Stables, home to Fox-Pitt Eventing.
There are also some fantastic offers from John Lewis, including a day for two with a fashion adviser at their Oxford Street store, which includes £500 worth of gift vouchers to be redeemed within the store and a pamper day for two at the Peter Jones Clarins Spa in Sloane Square.

The World Equestrian Games, held in Kentucky will include the Olympic disciplines of dressage, eventing, showjumping and para-equestrian dressage along with the non-Olympic disciplines of driving, endurance, reining and vaulting – for the British team this means taking nearly 50 horses in total.
The Olympic and Paralympic teams are supported by lottery funding via UK Sport, but the non-Olympic sports do not receive any direct funding for this event. £500,000 is needed to support those teams and fund their trip to Kentucky next year.
“This is the first time the games have ever been held outside Europe,” comments Will Connell, Equestrian Performance Director. “To send a full team and remain one of the top equestrian nations in the world, we need your help. All proceeds of this auction will go towards sending the team to the Games and supporting our talented riders in their quest to compete and win on the World stage.”
The auction site has been launched with the support of the John Lewis Partnership who joined forces with the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) as part of the British Olympic Association FTSE 100 partnership scheme.
