Winter championships

This year's Winter Championships will take place on 28th March 2010. 

Tests for the Qualifiers and the Championships will be as follows:

Restricted Warm Up – Novice 2010
Restricted Qualifiers or Championship Classes – Team Test 2010
Open Warm Up – Team Test 2010
Open Qualifiers of Championship Classes – Individual Championship 2010

BD Para-Equestrian Dressage Talent Spotting

Shaggy ponies are welcome, as the judges look at your riding skills, not your horse. You can share a horse or pony with someone else or you may be able to hire one. After riding your test, the judge will give you a short training session to assess your knowledge and ability.

The purpose of the Talent-Spotting is to identify Para-Equestrian dressage riders with talent, dedication and enthusiasm. It also serves to provide riders with advice and encouragement to help with correct training, and it’s an ideal place to meet like minded riders!

There are three classes based on age groups; 10-15, 16-25 and over 26 yrs. The event is open to any rider who has been classified and has not competed at the BD National Championships in the past two years or is a previous winner of Talent Spotting, (unless it was for a different age group). National Championships

BD is proud to announce the launch of a new para championship competition this year that will take place at Hickstead. This will run AS WELL as the KBIS Championships. Qualification will be based on a points system as per the 2010 rule book. 

 To qualify, riders must gain: 8 points over 60% in Restricted. 12 points over 62% in Open. The points will be allocated as per Rule 14, Grading Points. For this year only points will also be allocated in warm up classes. Dates of the qualifiers are as follows;
