Under 25 championship

BYRDS Under 25 Championships at Sheepgate

The BYRDS U25 Championships include National Championships at Preliminary, Novice, Elementary, Medium and Advanced Medium level as well as the FEI Team tests at Pony, Junior and Young Rider levels. Classes are open for riders up to the age of 25 years. Qualification requirements for these Championships are printed in the British Dressage Rule Book each year.

This very popular and successful competition is hosted by Sheepgate Equestrian Centre, Sheepgate, Boston, Lincs, and held in August each year.

Sheepgate are also the long-standing sponsor of the very popular Pony, Junior and Young Rider Derbys, which are open to unaffiliated members with unregistered ponies/horses. Riders qualify by taking part in 2 qualifying classes, the four riders who qualify at each level Final will ride their own and each other’s ponies/horses.

There is a Team competition with regional teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland vying to become the winner of the International Challenge Final.
