DRESSAGE TO MUSIC WORKSHOPS 2020
We are thrilled to announce a series of Dressage to Music Workshops in the Eastern Region this year. Now that there are more opportunities than ever to qualify for Music Championships – at Inter County, Area Festival and National level - there is also more reason to have fun ‘dancing’ with your horse.
And Tony Hobden of Equidance is the man to help you start that journey! Tony has worked in the music industry as an engineer and record producer for over 20 years. He lectures in music production at degree level and continues to stay active and current within the industry.
On one of our Equidance days, you will ride your floor plan, discuss types of music, try different music to see what best fits your horse’s paces, work on timings and content of the test, and have the whole thing filmed and timed. Tony will then take all this away with him to make up your unique and professional compilation. Your music will then come back to you in the post with your BD forms all sorted, and two CD copies – and you will be ready to go!
Dates so far include: 20 June Brightwood EC, Wisbech, Cambs, 18 July Writtle College, Chelmsford, Essex, 19 July Martley Hall Stud, Easton, Suffolk

In addition to organised training sessions, we also have the option for you to book flexi-training with one of our BD accredited or recognised coaches if you're a rider. This means you can book and pay for a lesson, and then organise it at a time and place to suit you and the trainer.
Have you ticked the box? Did you know, if you are a UK Tax Payer and you tick the Gift Aid box when you update your membership details or first join, you will be making money for British Dressage? One full member paying £90 will earn BD an additional £22.50 EVERY year! That money will enable us to train more judges, subsidize rider events and educate coaches, so PLEASE, if you are eligible, TICK THE BOX - it costs you nothing, but will make a real difference.
