Judge Training at the Le Mieux National Dressage Championships 2018 

The booking for Judge Training at the Nationals is open now and can be booked here

The Training sessions will cover Novice to InterII and will cost £10 for an approximately 2 hour-long session with a Tutor Judge. Judges may attend any level(s) of training. These training sessions do not count as Seminars. 

Please note: attendance at a judge training session does not include your general admission to the National Championships. These tickets must be purchased separately.

Principles of Judging Seminar 2018

Peter Storr, Andrew Gardener and Sandy Phillips have been confirmed as the hosts for this year’s Principles of Judging Seminar, which will be held at Moulton College in Northamptonshire on the 6 – 7 October 2018.

The Principles of Judging Seminar is an essential day for judges, riders, coaches, owners looking to improve their skills and gain an invaluable insight into the world of judging. This key event offers a variety of learning experiences including classroom and arena sessions led by the three top draw International judges whose wealth of knowledge will no doubt educate and inspire all.

There will also be an evening of socialising including a meal to be held at Moulton College; this is an ideal opportunity to meet and greet with members of the BD team and Judges Committee. Reception drinks will commence at 6:30pm followed by a wonderful three course meal at 7pm.

Get your weekend tickets for only £65 for judges and £70 for non-judges, single day tickets are £35 for judges and £40 for non-judges.

Book your place at the Principles of Judging Seminar evening meal for an additional £40. We’re also offering the evening meal plus a room at Moulton College for £66 as well as the evening meal plus a room at Moulton College and breakfast for only £75. Bookings for accommodation, breakfast and the evening meal will close on the 14th September. 

Please note that riders, coaches, owners and members can purchase tickets for the arena sessions only.

Seminars - CDP Requirements

For 2018 the annual Principles of Judging Seminar will be held on the 6th - 7th October at Moulton College, Northamptonshire and is for Trainee - List 3a judges. 

All judges must attend one whole day seminar as a minimum per calendar year. The seminar can be either a national event (Principles Seminar) or a regional seminar. The attendee must ensure they register /provide their tickets on arrival to ensure they are officially logged. Those not attending the whole day will be not be able to log the seminar as CPD.

Regional Seminars        
 
For List 1, 2A and 2 Judges, Hartpury training and, for 2018, the Olympia Seminar which is a National event and not an FEI Seminar this year, will also count towards annual seminar attendence. Booking for Olympia can be done here

Young Judges Day
