British Dressage is proud to present the Lusitano Dressage Championships for a third year. Riders of Lusitano horses will again have the opportunity to qualify for a dedicated championship final to be held at Keysoe EC in Bedfordshire on Sunday 5 November 2017.

The Lusitano, or PSL (Puro Sangue Lusitano) is a Portuguese breed closely related to the PRE horse of Spain. Originally bred for the military, bull fighting and classical dressage, the Lusitano, with its willing character, talent for collection, and powerful gaits constitutes the ideal partner for competitive dressage.

These popular, attractive horses continue to prove themselves at the highest levels of international sport.
