Be sure not to miss wonderful Windsor!

We’re counting down to the world famous Royal Windsor Horse Show (10 – 14 May 2017) where once again international dressage takes centre stage. The iconic venue with an unbeatable backdrop in the form of Windsor Castle provides the setting, and leading world class riders provide the action!

This is an opportunity to enjoy international dressage alongside a feast of competition and attractions from all corners of the equestrian world ‘under one roof’ and in a fabulous, social setting. There really is something for the whole family to enjoy! And there’s still time to buy tickets, so visit the RWHS website to secure yours.

The CDI4* Grand Prix and CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle, both supported by Horse & Hound, take place during the Castle Arena Evening Performances on Thursday 11 May and Friday 12 May respectively, starting at 6.30pm. The list of entries includes Great Britain’s Carl Hester with Barolo, Lara Butler (née Griffith) with Rubin Al Asad and Richard Davison with Bubblingh alongside Gareth Hughes with Don Carissimo, Dan Watson with Amadeus and Hayley Watson-Greaves with Rubins Nite.

Both nights feature the Shetland Pony Grand National sponsored by Sandra & Martin Wood and the DAKS Pony Club Mounted Games. And the evenings will burst with British pride in the form of the Musical Ride of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and the Musical Drive of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery. As ever, both bringing their patriotic vibe to the party!

Royal Windsor Horse Show has launched a ‘Five Stars of Windsor’ series to celebrate promotion to five star international showjumping status. And...they saved the best until last (we would say that, wouldn't we) as they released their final instalment featuring Carl Hester. Click above to watch.

See the Royal Windsor Horse Show website for timetable and tickets.
