South and West Para Dressage
Our region offers a whole range of training, social and competition opportunities for para dressage riders in the South & West region.
Regional training
We hold regular training, such as test riding, social evenings and camps, giving para equestrian riders access to training conducted by top coaches. As a Para rider, you can access any Senior or BD Youth Camps (age 6-25). The training is informal, friendly and you don't need to have been classified to take part, so it's a great introduction to everything our membership offers. Para Regional Team events
Once you're involved with regular regional activities and competing at BD show, you could be in the running to be selected to represent BD South & West at the annual Para Home Nations! Here, para combinations travel from across the country to compete, enjoy the team spirit, and soak up the unrivalled atmosphere.
How to apply
Once you have read the selection policy and all of the requirements, approximately 6 weeks before the competition you will be able to apply to be a part of the regional teams through the Horse Monkey booking system. The applications have closed for 2023.
