How to find us
Hartpury is located on the A417, just 4 miles north of Gloucester. The show centre is located just 300 meters on the left-hand side after leaving the A417. For those travelling by rail, the nearest train station is Gloucester.
Food & drink
Onsite refreshments are available in the Arena Restaurant from 4pm on Tuesday 7 April and 7am onwards on show days, with a licensed bar offered to spectators during normal licensing hours. During Gala Performances, refreshments and bar facilities are only available within ticketed areas – with the exception of a fast food outlet in the stable area for competitors. Coffee and sweet treats are available throughout the week just outside the Hospitality Suite entrance to Hartpury Arena. There are a number of local pubs within five miles of the venue, including the Royal Exchange, The Swan Inn, The Swan at Coombe Hill and Toby Carvery Highnam.
Where to stay
Stay onsite with a public caravan and camping pass!
Limited 6amp electrical hook up is available at a cost of £86 for the show period. Caravans will require a 16amp (blue socket) extension cable to connect to the socket supplied by the event. It is the responsibility of the Competitor to ensure that all their cables and electrical equipment comply with current electrical regulations. Attendees must ensure that all electrical items in their caravan/horsebox have a current PAT Certificate. Whilst the Organiser endeavours to supply the hook up booked, the Organiser does not guarantee a constant supply throughout the Show, nor do we accept any responsibility for losses and / or discomfort occurring as a result of a break in the supply provided. Electric is not available for tents.
Non-competitor camping and caravan passes are available for £25 per night.
Public Caravan Passes may be purchased by sending a SAE, details of requirements, contact number and cheque made payable to 'The Winter Championships' to: Show Direct, The Winter Championships, Tudor Cottage, Pendock Road, Redmarley, Gloucestershire GL19 3LG. Applications close 23 March 2020.
*Please note: Purchasing a Public Caravan Pass does not gain admission to the Friday and Saturday Gala Performances.
