Education and courses
Being a member of British Dressage means you have access to a whole range of training and education opportunities - whether you're a rider, judge, coach, steward or volunteer... we have something for everyone!

Regional training
Each of our regions host loads of training sessions and social activities throughout the year that you can get involved with! Have lessons with national and local coaches, meet fellow riders with a passion for dressage and have great fun progressing towards your training goals. Regional training days are open to everyone, with members benefiting from a member discount, and will enable you to develop your skills both in and out of the saddle; including everything from test riding and training to unmounted workshops, DVD sessions and social activities.
Regional training sessions are organised by your Regional Development Officer, and they'll be the first point of contact within your region!
Apprenticeships
Introduced in 2022 the new British Dressage Apprenticeship programme in partnership with Sport Structures can help support you throughout your career! Find out more about our employment pathway of nationally recognised Intermediate and Advanced apprenticeship equestrian qualifications.
Judges training
We offer a number of opportunities throughout the year aimed specifically at our judges to support their development and provide plenty of chances to network and share best practice through our popular judges training events.
Coaching qualifications
There are three coaching qualifications currently on offer through British Dressage, whether you're new to coaching and looking to gain your next qualification, or you're an existing coach wanting to further your development.
Courses
We are committed to offering opportunities for our riders to supplement and enhance their dressage skills, particularly for our youth riders who are looking towards their future career.
