The Vale View Regionals (17 – 19 July) showcased a top class performance for former event rider Ryan Trafford, who took a double victory aboard DA Louis. Dan Greenwood also topped the podium in the advanced classes, showcasing a stellar performance aboard SJL Baks Zacco.

It’s nearly time to cheer on our Pony squad as they head out to Le Mans, France (28 July – 2 August) for five days of top class dressage competition.

The Bicton Summer Regionals saw Abbie Newbury claim a double one-two placings in the D&H Intermediate I and Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges, whilst Laura Scott claims another regional title in the HorseQuest Elemenatary Silver.

The Parwood Summer Regionals (17 – 19 July) showcased a display of commanding wins, especially for riders Lauren Burrows and Charlotte Smithwhite.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Sherry Lee Belton, Managing Director of Albion Saddlemakers and longstanding supporter of British Dressage, who passed away peacefully on Monday 20 July.

British Dressage and British Equestrian can today confirm the athlete and horse combinations that will be submitted to the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) as our definite entries for the FEI World Championships 2026, set to take place from 11–23 August in Aachen, Germany.

As the Pony European Championships draw closer, it is time to meet the team that is heading out to represent Great Britain at Le Mans, France from 28 July – 2 August.

The Petplan Area Festivals continued to showcase the heart of grassroots dressage, with riders across the country celebrating personal milestones, long-awaited successes and inspiring comebacks. Burrows Court Farm, Vale View Equestrian and Myerscough College provided the backdrop for memorable performances.

Running alongside the Summer Regional Championships, it’s time to tune in for the KBIS Young Horse Semi Finals at Northallerton (Friday 25 July), where some of our top young horses aim to qualify for the KBIS Young Horse Finals.

On the final day of competition, Amelia Dovey produced a top-four finish in the Children's Freestyle, whilst Isla Sully, Stella McComb and Sebastian Houlston post strong scores to round off a fantastic week at the FEI Children and Junior European Championships.
