As the Youth European Championships draw closer, it is time to meet the team that is heading out to represent Great Britain at Olomouc in the Czech Republic from 13 – 19 July.

It was a hot one for our para riders at the NAF Hartpury International Festival of Dressage (30 June – 5 July), as riders took a clean sweep of victories as the fierce competition for a spot at the FEI World Championships heats up.

British Dressage is delighted to recognise Youth Employment Week (6 – 10 July 2026), highlighting the importance of supporting young people as they begin their careers and creating opportunities that help them thrive in the workplace.

Over three days of standout competition, Matt Frost and Charlotte Dujardin dominated the 1* and 3* competition at the NAF Hartpury International Festival of Dressage (30 June – 5 July) with Frost taking a triple-victory in the Small Tour as Dujardin wins the Grand Prix and Special competition.

British Dressage is deeply saddened to share the passing of Sally Merrison. Sally was a hugely influential figurehead of dressage, known by many for her unending depth of knowledge and willingness to help others.

Kicking off the first of the European Championships, meet the U25 Team who will be travelling alongside the Young Rider team to represent Great Britain at Pilisjászfalu in Hungary from 6 – 12 July.

The sun was shining for a fantastic weekend at Kelsall Hill, Cheshire for the BD Youth Inter Regionals (27 – 28 June), where the North and West region topped the podium in the team competition in a show of teamwork and elite sportsmanship that showcased the very best of BD Youth.

To support the education of future British Dressage coaches, there are a range of live training opportunities requiring horse and rider combinations to give their time to support the delivery of workshops and assessments.
