International and major dates
There are a number of international and major competitions where you can watch the stars of dressage competing for the ultimate dressage accolades!

From the Olympics and Paralympics, to events closer to home, you can watch our international riders compete at numerous competitions throughout the year.

British CDI and CPEDI competitions
These are international dressage events recognised by the FEI, the international governing body of equestrian sports. They go from CDI1* (Small Tour only) to CDI5* - the higher the star rating, the more prestigious the competition. CDI-W events are part of the FEI World Cup series, CDIO events are part of the FEI Nations Cup series and CPEDI events are for para riders. These events include:
- Bishop Burton CPEDI
- Hartpury CDI3*/CPEDI
- Horse of the Year Show (showcase event)
- Keysoe CDI3*/2* and CPEDI
- Olympia CDI-W
- Wellington CDI3* / 1*
GB Teams Competitions
As well as the Olympics and Paralympics, there are a number of other major international competitions that take place in between the Olympic and Paralympic Games:
- Olympics and Paralympics - every four years
- World Equestrian Games - every four years (in between the Olympics and Paralympics)
- European Championships - every two years
Competing Internationally
If you're at the stage in your training where you're getting great scores and feel you're ready for the next step, representing Britain internationally - either on home soil or further afield - might be an achievable goal for you.
Other major competitions
Other major competitions that take place in the dressage calendar include the Horse of the Year Show and Your Horse Live, which include a number of equestrian disciplines, as well as entertainment and shopping too!
