Associated Championships

A huge variety of horses can be found out and about, training and competing. There's great passion for the different breeds we're lucky to have and our Associated Championships are the ideal showcase, which also include the Veteran, Forces Equine and Small Tour Champs. This series is proving a real celebration of diversity within the sport as well as offering Small Tour riders another opening.

British Dressage is thrilled to present these championships in partnership with title sponsor and leading horse care brand
Nettex. Follow our Facebook

page for exciting competition opportunities and don’t miss your chance to qualify for one of the Nettex Associated Championships where there will be a host of amazing prizes on offer.

Did you know that you can qualify up until 31 August? Please note that once you have gained your qualifying scores at a given level and section you may subsequently upgrade out of that level and/or section but still retain your existing qualification.

Scroll down for further information in our handy qualification guides and then download your qualification form at the bottom of the page.

In previous years, the championships have been held individually, however for 2019 British Dressage is excited to announce that the Nettex Associated Championships will be held as two larger championships to showcase the breeds alongside each other.

All entries for the Associated Championships at Prelim and above automatically revert to the Silver section. This will not affect your eligibility for Bronze, Silver and Gold sections at future regular shows.

Membership Information

Any members wishing to compete in Quest, Prelim Bronze, Music classes, Combined Training and Young Horse Classes will need to be riding a Club horse.

To qualify for Associated Championships, riders need to be a minimum of a BD Club member (£35) and horses must also be a minimum of Club registered (£10). This allows the combination to compete at Intro and Prelim bronze levels, however for Novice and above a class ticket will be required unless you are a full BD member with a fully BD registered horse.

To compete at the Associated Championships at all levels except Intro, all riders and horses must be fully BD registered.
