Being a volunteer is a great way to watch others competing, get a feel of how dressage competitions run and what makes a good test.

Nationals - volunteers

Being a volunteer has so many benefits - give back to the sport, enjoy an equestrian-packed day out, add to your CV, and most importantly - have fun! If you're interested in volunteering with British Dressage, contact your Regional Development Officer for volunteering opportunities in your area:

Regional and technical committees

We have a number of volunteer committees that help support our sport - these comprise of regional committees, where there are different representatives for the key areas, and technical committees, who are selected for their expertise within a particular field to support the relevant area of British Dressage.

Any member of British Dressage can apply to be a part of a regional or technical committee when vacancies are available. All volunteer vacancies will be advertised on our vacancy page.

President's Commendation

The President's Commendation is an award that recognises outstanding contributions, by an individual or group, to dressage in Great Britain. Recipients may have had a long-term or singularly significant impact on the dressage community and will be, without doubt, a stand out example to others. Key to the award is the undoubted and unequivocal excellence of the nominee.
