British riders enjoyed a visit to the top French venue of Boulerie Jump Pôle Européen du Cheval in Le Mans for CDI3* competition (15 - 19 October 2025), where Charlotte Dujardin secured international wins and several BD Youth riders earned valuable mileage.

Returning to international competition with her own Alive and Kicking (All At Once x Furst Piccolo), Charlotte Dujardin rode to two accomplished wins in the 3* Big Tour classes. On board the 11-year-old mare, Charlotte scored 74.739% in the Grand Prix class, to claim a convincing win by four percent; before going on to achieve another superb mark of 75.128% in the Grand Prix Special, extending her winning margin and giving the black mare some great arena time.

Oxfordshire's Tom Goode was also in action in the 3* competition, earning two strong placings of sixth in the Grand Prix, scoring 67.369%, and a fantastic fourth in the Grand Prix Freestyle with 71.415%. Bred by Gestut Lewitz, Richard Jackon's Furstenball-sired gelding has enjoyed some great exposure at the top level this season, having made his overseas international Grand Prix debut in February.

In the Youth classes, Pony rider Violet Hawkins enjoyed three top six placings with Alex Hawkins' 14-year-old DZL Royal Sunrise. Throughout the week, Violet improved on her placings each day, concluding the show with a super fifth position in the Pony Freestyle, notching up 69.742%.

In the Junior classes, Penny Smith and Lily Cawley both made their overseas debuts at the level. Having only made their international debut at Addington CDI earlier this year, Penny did a stellar job presenting her own 10-year-old Austrian-bred gelding Rembrandt GSH for two top four placings, including taking third spot in the Team test. Lily Cawley and Kate Cawley's Damon's Don Farrington (Damon Hill x Florencio I) are a relatively new partnership showing much promise, having been competing together as a combination since January; their international debut saw them place fifth in the Team test, and fourth in the Freestyle competition.

Congratulations to all riders taking part and enjoying some great results.
