Lottie Fry and Glamourdale were the combination in control at CDI-W Jumping Amsterdam, whilst Becky Moody and Jagerbomb were also recognised with a €10,000 audience prize as the Brits showed top form in heart of the Dutch capital.

The competition at Jumping Amsterdam providing top quality action in the seventh leg of the Western European League for FEI Dressage World Cup™ qualification, as a strong showing of Europe’s top ranked riders headed to the city for a shot at earning points towards places at April’s final in Fort Worth, Texas.

With three of the top five ranked FEI dressage athletes in attendance – Becky Moody, Isabel Werth and Lottie Fry – the competition for the placings was a treat for those in attendance.

Following their double success at the CDI-W London, Lottie Fry and Van Olst Horses’ Glamourdale returned to the World Cup scene for more success. A convincing Grand Prix saw them open the show in Amsterdam with a victory over Isabel Werth, topping the class with 80%; before they went on to thrill the crowds in the Grand Prix Freestyle, taking off from Amsterdam and landing in Ibiza with their lively flying themed performance.

In front of Susaane Baarup (E – DEN), Mariette Sanders van Gansewinkel (C – NED), Magnus Ringmark (B – SWE), Francis Verbeek (H – NED) and Maria Colliander (M – FIN), Lottie produced a faultless test with high degree of difficulty on show matched with powerful, well executed movements. The end score was a stunning 89.305%, defending her Amsterdam title and repeating a duo of wins from 2025.

“I’m usually not nervous before competitions, but today I did feel some nerves after my test, knowing Isabell and Becky were still to ride,” said Fry. “A strong field like this only gives me extra motivation. It really makes you raise your game.

"I trust ‘Glammy’ completely, and if the crowd gets loud for the combination before us, he has no problem walking into an arena like this. He actually loves it – he loves to show off. We’re really finding the right balance now between all that power and enough relaxation.”

Isabel Werth and the Paris medallist Queenspark Wendy were twice runners up in Amsterdam, earning an impressive 87.580% in the Grand Prix Freestyle.

Becky Moody and Jagerbomb showed their class against the best with two third place finishes. A strong start to the show resulted in 77.239% in the Grand Prix, before performing their Beatles freestyle with great energy and execution for a score of 85.310% - contributing promising points to their World Cup qualification campaign.

Becky was also declared the winner of the Harmony & Fairness Award, a €10,000 audience-voted prize for the most harmonious combination. “It’s very special to win this award,” Becky commented. “For me, it’s all about Jagerbomb – he makes it possible for me to ride like this.”

After Amsterdam, Becky now sits third in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ ranking and confirmed she would like to target the Final in Fort Worth, Texas (USA), should she qualify.

Charlotte Dujardin was also in action in Amsterdam with the All At Once-sired mare Alive and Kicking; the pair also produced some superb placings, earning fifth in the Grand Prix (73.044%%) and sixth in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a nice ride to Charlotte’s memorable Frozen programme earning 79.995%.

National success for Dutch-based Brit

Dutch-based British rider Phoebe Peters also earned a spot on the top step of the Jumping Amsterdam podium, riding to success in the prestigious KNHS Subli Cup Championship with Reesink Horses McMary. Having made a guest rider appearance at the National Championships in 2025, Phoebe (26) presented the four-rising-five-year-old mare McMary (Mclaren x Ampere) for a score of 87.2.
