U25 team bronze medallist Harrison Ashton travelled to the World Cup show in Herning, Denmark, last weekend earning success in the Lövsta Future Challenge classes (17 - 18 October 2025).
With Henri Rouste and Jesse Honka's 10-year-old mare Million Dreams (Millienium x Sandro Hit), German-based British rider Harrison Ashton enjoyed a dream trip to Herning, competing in the prestigious Lövsta Future Challenge classes at the first FEI World Cup fixture of the season.
In Friday's 16-25 Grand Prix class, Harrison piloted 'Millie' to a super score of 69.256%, placing the ahead of Dutch duo Robin Heiden and Hollywood on 69.231% and Lara van Nek and the breeding stallion All At Once (Ampere x Gribaldi), also travelling to Denmark from The Netherlands.
Harrison followed up his day one win with a convincing victory in the Grand Prix Freestyle, performing his 'Greatest Showman' themed routine with elegance to earn a top score of 75.185%. The high points came for the tempi changes, which earned eights, along with impressive extended paces in trot and canter which also collected some great marks. The artistic elements of the test saw nines for degree of difficulty, and four marks of eight or higher for the music and interpretation.
Speaking on social media, rider and influencer Harrison commented: "Unbelievably proud of my young mare Million Dreams. Big atmosphere, big ask this weekend, but Mildred rose to the occasion and proved what an incredible show horse she's becoming. We achieved another personal best score [in the Freestyle], scoring 75.185% and topping our Europeans score. She takes the Lövsta Future Challenge title here at the World Cup Herning. What a way to finish her first season!"
Harrison also thanked his trainer and friend Henri Rouete, Tom Hunt for producing his freestyle, as well as U25 Chef d'Equipe Tom Hobday who travelled to the venue to support.
