From a sister-share to a home-produced heroine, the LeMieux My Quest U21 Championship (16 November 2025) produced three fantastic winners from Introductory to Novice level competition.

My Quest U21 Introductory

Winner: Georgina Timmis and Little Miss Lola Snow, 72.197%

Worcestershire’s Georgina Timmis rode to an impressive score of 72.197% on board her own Little Miss Lola Snow, claiming the My Quest U21 Introductory title in front of judges Gillian Sandom, Sue Ricketts, and Alastair Gibbs.

“It’s very good,” Georgina said about how it feels to win at this prestigious fixture, “it’s special because we’ve produced her and she’s still only young. It’s her first championships and her first time doing anything like this.”

“I didn’t expect to do so well at all, it’s surprising but very exciting. She felt very good in the test, we got some eights too.”

Georgie has given her lovely mare much patience and time, earning her trust and teaching her how to point her dancing hooves: “We got her when she was three and we’ve been slowly producing her with help from professionals, she’s been hard work at times but obviously worth it. It’s been amazing for me to learn – I've learnt an awful lot.”

The pair were cheered on in the prize giving by Georgie’s team from the West Midlands Dressage Group, “everyone has been so supportive and kind, it’s just been so much fun.”

The runner-up spot went to Erin Greenwell and Storm VIII on 69.848%, whilst Harry Moore and Parcybedew Sparkling Diamond completed the podium, finishing just a fraction behind Erin on 69.394%.

My Quest U21 Preliminary

Winner: Isabella Golder and Vardags Silmarillia, 68.406%

Isabella Golder made both herself and Vardags Silmarillia’s owner Sarah Chandler proud, earning the My Quest U21 Preliminary title after producing a top score of 68.406% in the 29-strong class.

“It’s amazing, I’ve never won a rug before,” said Dorset-based Isabella.

“She’s not my horse and I don’t do too much with her, so I’m really pleased. I started riding her in June and we went to the Pony Club Nationals,” she continued about her journey with the grey mare, “we’ve done a bit of eventing and Sarah’s daughter used to do a bit with her too, she’s done a bit of everything!”

“I’m studying Law and Criminology at university, as well as working with horses at a showjumping yard,” Isabella said about herself, commendably fitting in competing and training alongside two busy roles.

Speaking about what makes Quest special, the young rider was also full of praise for the team element, alongside the individual success: “I loved the team element, our team made it to the regionals but not to the finals – it's everyone from my yard so I’m hoping we can get back here next year as a team.”

Emilia Mole and the Moorland Bodyguard-sired Hollyhurst Bugatti placed second with 67.971%, whilst Amy Parry and DHI Mojo – who were part of the 2024 winning U21 Team Quest team – earned third place with 67.899%.

My Quest U21 Novice

Winner: Megan Harrison and Garthfach Whisky Rocks, 74.867%

A busy weekend proved one to remember for Megan Harrison, who not only made up part of the winning U21 Quest team the Joy Riders, but also earned an individual title of her own – taking the My Quest U21 Novice crown with Garthfach Whisky Rocks.

Megan and Whisky also earned the highest score of the show, delivering a fantastic 74.867% in front of Laura Leicester, Jane Peberdy and Deborah Howson.

“It’s so exciting,” Megan described, “He was a very good boy, it was his third test of the day too but we managed to keep it together.”

Speaking about the 12-year-old gelding, she continued: “We’ve had him about four years and I share him with my sister, we’re in the team together. He’s the best – he's so chill. He’ll wrap his neck around you and give you a cuddle, he leans on you when you scracth him, he’s just so gentle. He’s the perfect pony.”

“We bought him for Beth and when she went to university I started riding him during the week,” Megan said about sharing her star horse with her sister, who was also part of the winning team, “We help each other warm up now. At the beginning there used to be a bit of rivalry! We both know him so well now it’s really great helping each other from the ground on what he looks like. My trainers Tracy Garside and Katharine Wicks have helped us get him this good this year, he’s come on so much.”

Caitlin Evans-Simpson and Thorngate Crusader (Menai Thomas x Tranmoor Flyte) produced a fantastic test to earn 71.067% and second place; Bonnie Inskip and the home-bred gelding Popalbee Temptation placed third with 70.533%, the duo are also showing stars, having won the 2025 Royal International senior championship earlier this year.

Congratulations to all winning riders, as well as to all U21 competitors taking part in the LeMieux My Quest Championships.
